Itinerary
Departure from Morona by Air Force plane (subject to availability and weather factors) to the community of Angamos. Upon arrival in the community, reception by a local guide and accommodation in accommodation.
Important: If you arrive in the morning, optional departure the same day after collecting food and a short rest you will leave in peke peke (motor boat). Arrival after 6 hours. That day we spent the night in the house of one of the families.
Local Breakfast
07:00 am: Departure by Peque Peque (motor boat) to the Community of San Mateo de Los Matsés. On the way, you will be able to observe different types of birds, aquatic turtles and parrots. You can also see two gray or pink buffeos. Throughout the journey, different birds such as seagulls, macaws, among others, are always flying overhead. Peque Peque reaches the community after a six-hour drive.
Welcomed by a family of the Matsés. Local lunch. Tour of the area. Overnight and dinner at the family home.
Local Breakfast
07:30 am: Visit of the surroundings of the community and presentation of the culture of the Matsés, presentation of the handicrafts hammocks, wallets, arrows, bows, baskets, fans, etc. Next, the white spider area continues part of the Galvez River (known by them for the white beach area) opportunity to fish and learn about the benefits of the Amazon. Return to the family home. Local lunch.
In the afternoon, free walks along different trails for the observation of flora and fauna.
At night, as part of their ancestral culture, they present the frog known by the Matsés, as acaté, a purgative to purify the body that they used in the past to lose their fear, be brave and a better hunter. As well as extracting diseases from the stomach.

Return to the community of Angamos by motor boat.
Dinner and overnight stay at local accommodation.
Departure by light aircraft (subject to availability and weather factors) to the city of Iquitos.

- The passenger accepts the terms and conditions at the time of making the reservation. In case of non-attendance, the traveler loses 100% (Non-refundable), date changes at least 30 days in advance. In the case of being a group or couple, if one of your companions does not attend, the responsible person must assume the difference. No Show: In case the passenger does not show up on the arrival date, it is non-refundable.

- We do not make refunds except for health with a medical certificate, death with a death certificate and pandemics (the refund is with a Travel voucher(*). There is no refund.
(*) Use of Travel voucher: Travel voucher can be exchanged for the contracted service. In case you want to make any change of community or destination, it must be prior coordination and additional payment that could be generated. The holder of the Travel voucher has a period of twelve months from the date of issuance, to decide on an option and carry out the exchange thereof. Considering that the reservation must be made with a minimum of one month in advance. This Travel voucher does not apply on holidays and public holidays in Peru.
- Surcharges for holidays in Peru:
A 50% surcharge will be made to the total price for festive dates such as: Holy Week (Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday), Labor Day (May 1), Inti Raymi (June 24), National Holidays (28 and July 29), Christmas (December 24 and 25), New Years (December 31 and January 1).
