The climate in the area is rainy and dry. From December to April, it rains and snows in the higher-altitude areas, with daytime temperatures ranging from 16°C to 18°C. From May to November, daytime temperatures range between 17°C and 19°C. At night, temperatures drop to as low as 0°C.

Itinerary

In Moray you will receive a warm welcome full of music, dancing, and typical local dress. In addition, you will have the opportunity to try their delicious muña mate which is highly recommended to prevent discomfort due to altitude. Later, you will be able to learn about the traditional way that still remains in the Moray community to prepare pachamanca. The approximate cooking time for this typical dish is approximately 40 minutes, from the moment the ingredients are buried. Of course, you will not only be a spectator but you will contribute to its preparation with original Andean products, you will also learn the secrets to achieve a special and different flavor from the typical food of the city.
