Climate:

The climate in the area is rainy and dry. During December to April, rain and snow occur in the higher altitude areas, with a daytime temperature of between 16 °C and 18 °C. From May to November, the daytime temperature ranges between 17°C and 19°C. At night the temperature drops to 0 °C.

Itinerary

At 8:00 a.m., the transfer to the train station begins for a 3-hour and 40-minute scenic journey through the Sacred Valley of Urubamba. Upon arrival, a 30-minute bus transfer takes you to the impressive “Lost City of the Incas”: Machu Picchu, one of the 7 Wonders of the World.

Once there, you will enjoy a guided tour of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes through the famous ruins, recognized worldwide for their historical and cultural significance.

In the afternoon, the return journey to the Ollantaytambo station by train is followed by a tourist bus transfer back to Cusco. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel to rest. Overnight stay at your accommodation.
