Itinerary

Receipt at Anta Airport, transfer to Carhuaz, check-in at the hotel.
Departure at 10:00 am. Tour of the city and its surroundings. Visit to Carhuaz Plaza and the Nuestra Señora de Mercedes Church. Tasting of typical ice cream from the area. A short walk to Del Diablo rock and the Bruja Armanán waterfall. Free afternoon. Overnight in Carhuaz.

Breakfast and pick up from the hotel at 08:30 am. Departure from Carhuaz city to the north, going through picturesque villages of the Callejón de Huaylas arriving at Carhuaz province.
Carhuaz Main Plaza will be visited and there will be a tasting of typical ice cream. Next, we will arrive at the Ulta Ravine where flora and fauna can be observed as well as the highest peaks of the White Mountain Range like Hualcan, Huascarán, Chopicalqui, Contrahierbas, Ulta, Mateo and Chequiraju.
Then we will go through the highest Tras-Andean tunnel of the world (4736 m.a.s.l) which connects Callejón de Huaylas Valley and the Conchucos Area where we will visit the beautiful Cancaracá, Contrahierbas and Yanaraju lagoons with teal and emerald water.
Continuing with the trip, we will arrive at Chacas District, province of Asunción, located at 3360 m.a.s.l to discover its plaza called Ugo de Censi with its beautiful traditional arquitecture with wood-made balconies, the altarpiece of the Virgen de la Asunción, the Padre Ugo de Censi grave and the cooperative of Don Bosco to appreciate carved wood pieces. Return at 07:00 pm and overnight in Carhuaz.

Maximum altitude: 4516 m.a.s.l , Kawish Tunnel.
Breakfast. Departure at 08:00 am. Return at 06:00 pm approximately. Tour to the south of the Callejón de Huaylas, visit to the Querococha Lagoon, observation of the Map of Peru (natural shaping). We will go through Kawish Tunnel (4516 m.a.s.l) and arrive at Conchucos area where Cabeza Clava, Square Plaza, Pórtico de las Falconidas, Circular Plaza, the Lanzón Monolítico, subterranean landscapes and galleries can be observed. Lunch and then, a visit to the National Museum of Chavín and return to Huaraz. Overnight in Huaraz.

Duration: 10 hours
Maximum altitude: 3850 m.a.s.l. Chinancocha Lagoon.
Breakfast included. Departure from the city of Huaraz toward the Callejón de Huaylas, nestled between the White and Black mountain ranges.
Visit to the Campo Santo of Yungay, the city buried by the 1970 earthquake. Key sites include the white Christ statue at the cemetery, the four palm trees, remains of the bus, ruins of the cathedral, and the flower garden, among others.
Afterwards, we head to Huascarán National Park, where we’ll observe the Llanganuco gorge, home to high-Andean biodiversity, and admire the scenic beauty of Chinancocha Lagoon (3850 m.a.s.l.) and Orconcocha Lagoon. Optionally, you may take a boat ride or explore the surrounding areas of the lagoon.
Next, we stop at a local restaurant to enjoy traditional regional dishes for lunch.
Finally, we visit the town of Taricá, known as the “land of artisans,” where you can purchase beautiful souvenirs. Return to Huaraz and overnight stay.

Duration: Approximately 10 hours.
Maximum altitude: 4450 m.a.s.l – Rocutuyoc Lagoon.
Pick up from the hotel at 08:00 am. Departure from Huaraz to the north, going through the villages of Callejón de Huaylas between the White Mountain Range and the Black Mountain Range.
The first stop will be at Marcará District to have breakfast, next we go through thermal baths of Chancos and the Peasant Community of Vicos to take a detour to Huascaran National Park which will offer a great view of High-Andean flora and fauna.
We will continue along Paqcharuri Ravine until we reach the beautiful Rocutuyocq Lagoon with teal water surrounded by Paqcharaju, Bayoraju, Copa Norte, Vicos and Akilpo peaks.
Then we will have a 40-minute walk until we reach the Frozen Lagoon where enjoying the landscape and take pictures.
Return and view of Paccharuri Waterfall.
Return to Huaraz City. Overnight.

The holder of the Travel voucher has a period of twelve months from the date of issuance, to decide on an option and carry out the exchange thereof. Considering that the reservation must be made with a minimum of one month in advance. This Travel voucher does not apply on holidays and public holidays in Peru.
- Surcharges for holidays in Peru:
A 50% surcharge will be made to the total price for festive dates such as: Holy Week (Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday), Labor Day (May 1), Inti Raymi (June 24), National Holidays (28 and July 29), Christmas (December 24 and 25), New Years (December 31 and January 1).
