Miami-Dade County in southeast Florida, USA, announced Monday that it will host the inaugural World Travel Expo (WTE) in 2023 to “promote tourism to Miami International Airport’s global network of 166 destinations (MIA).
WTE will offer tourism representatives from MIA’s international markets “the opportunity to meet with airlines, tourism boards, travel agents, cruise lines, hotels and other industry organizations.”
Hosted by Miami Airport and sponsored by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), American Airlines and the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau (Gmcvb), the event is expected to bring together approximately 2,000 industry professionals and will bring together to “Influential Leaders” and experts from the global travel industry.”
